I’m ambivalent about this one. I thought "Those left behind" was pretty inconsequential. But they got me with that damn cover.
40 pages 2.99? That seems like a pretty sweet deal.
I miss the series of course, but yeah, it’s the cover artwork that’s really motivating my purchase. I’m a sucker for anything drawn by Mr. Hughes.
Anything for a bit more Firefly
Yep, I’m on board. Buffy and Angel are too good at the moment to miss this.
Sweet deal is right. Let’s just hope that it’s 40 pages of story and not half that.

I love this series so much, I will buy anything with it. I’m a sucker like that. Luckily, I don’t think we’re in for a turd here, so I won’t look dumb buying this while in my fanboy insanity. Can’t wait to see what this on is all about.
@SmokMnky & jstump – I just read 2 issues of Star Wars Legacy last night and the Dark Horse books felt thicker and heavier than the Marvel & DC books. It would be nice to get more story but I’m inclined to believe that we’ll get more ads at this page & price point. What is the industry standard? 32 pages for $2.99? Both of these issues had 22 pages of story and 14 pages of extra/ads.
Glad and sad its a limited series. hope its as good as firefly!!
I did see the movie over the weekend (again) and can’t wait to get this into my hands! I miss Firefly so much and I’m such a sucker for everything Whedon-related.
Plus, as Eyun remarked, Joss is on run right now…
Very excited about this. the first series was what pulled me around to the comic shop for the first time in years. (but it was brian wood that got me hooked).
Anyone know if there are going to be extra covers for this run? I spent too much money "collecting them all" last time. Although they were very very nice.
Thought it was much, much better than the previous series.. it truly was like an episode of the TV show. Perfect.
This book was amazing! Can’t wait for the rest.
I know this is a redundant point, but it really did amaze me how much reading this was like watching a new episode of the show. I don’t read the Buffy stuff, so I guess it kind of surprised me. Makes me sad we’re not getting any more episodes/movies, but that’s another topic.
I loved this book and tv series. I do hope that after this Angel/Spike like in the middle continuity storyarc is done. Joss or someone Joss appoints continues with an all new, after the Serenity film storyline.
I do miss Wash…
I was looking forward to this and enjoyed it, but I found some of the panel-to-panle transitions to be awkward. A few times I had to look back and figure out how they got to Point C from point A.
