It’s finally here! Six years and almost one-thousand pages have all led to this epic finale!     Pre-Ordered this puppy! Can not wait I just got into Scott Pilgrim just a few months ago when the first trailer of the movie came out. Now having bought all 5 books preceding this finale, I can honestly say that this is probably my most anticipated final chapter of a series since Y:The Last Man & Preacher. And judging by the trailer’s scenes of the 6th book it is going to be AWESOME!!!

    It was. Newer editions do not have foil covers.

    Took a chance and pre-ordered through Amazon so I am interested to see when it will ship. I’m in the middle of Volume 3 right now so a delivery later in the week would give me enough time to get through vol. 5 before it arrives. :-)

    @rahunique That’s an interesting point – while I would buy a "higher production values" of this series in a heartbeat, I’m not sure it will happen anytime soon. I doubt it will get coloured – I love how it looks in black and white and think many feel the same. Therefore the only improvements they could make would be a bigger size or hardcover, plus extras I suppose.

    I’d love to see it, but I don’t think it will happen.

    Although now that I think about it, Oni put out the Local hardcover, which is one of the prettiest things I own. So, um, a Scott Pilgrim hardcover could be the best thing ever.

    @ modbbt : yes. it does. but wright wrote a different ending from the book. just watching the trailer after reading volume six i can see differences.

     

    @ Cooper : volume four began with those color pages, and those looked epic! i can imagine volume six in full color….amazing.

    I’ve never read this book at all.  The art looks like some afternoon kid’s cartoon. Power Puff Girls comes to mind. Can someone please explain the mass appeal?

    I bought the books after the first 5 had come out. I could find both foil and non-foil versions of book 5. So I dunno if it’s a first priniting thing or what. I went with the non-foil version strictly due to the nerd in me that wanted all the books to go together visually on my shelf. Ha. Yeah, I know.
