Is there a single color edition planned with all of the books?
As a comics fan, I typically have read a book before the movie. In this case, I’ve still not read Scott Pilgrim, but I LOVE the movie. I just may pick this up!
The books make the movie look like a joke.
I have to come to the defence of the Scott Pilgrim film. I thought it was as faithful an adaptation you could get, the tone was exactly right and the cast was great, and I say this as having read the books first.
Misterckent, if you liked the film, I’m pretty sure you’d enjoy the books. Of course, you now have the choice of B/W or colour. Chose wisely.
The books are amazing for many of the same reasons that the movie is amazing.
The books have more wit and detail, while the movie has a much MUCH better ending.
Both are masterpieces of their respective genres.
