  1. I never until the last issue of this series how much a consistent artist gives you the tone of a series, because I am definitely missing Rocafort here. Still, im hoping this issue delivers a good story because im wavering.

  2. I recently went back and read Robin 2: Jokers wild. Great Jason Todd Story.
I’m really looking forward to this as to be honest I don’t know a lot about his back story.
    should be fun.

  3. This is an issue I am buying because its a Zero issue. I guess thats a win for DC.

  4. Thanks for the preview:) The art looks pretty good to me and I’m definitely going to check this one out, always had a fascination for Red Hood ever since the animated movie.

  5. After Batgirl, I’m betting this is going to be a total cop out issue. Discussing his time as Robin or perhaps ignoring Todd completely in favor of Arsenal. Then there will be a last page of Todd digging out of the ground, looking up at the reader and smirking, with no explanation.

  6. I know Superman needs A LOT of help, but please bring Rocafort back to this book. He was perfect for the book.

  7. Shouldnt there be an Arsenal and Starfire origin somewhere in this issue? They are 2/3rds of the team.

Anyway, this was like reading the CliffNotes on who Jason Todd is. I liked the joker “secret” origin though, that was kinda interesting.

  8. It just doesn’t seem that DC has any idea what to do with Jason’s “resurrection.” This would have been the perfect opportunity to show–not tell–us the who, what, when, where, and why of it according to the New 52, but I fear that Lobdell and Co. dropped that baton.

  9. Totaly calling BS on this issue. this didn’t tell me anything on how Jason came back from the dead. i’m given thats my story and i’m sticking to it. BS.
too bad this had so much potential.

  10. I enjoyed this issue overall, but DAMN did I miss Rocafort’s artwork! What a shame…I’m adding Superman for his work, but may have to drop this if the art doesn’t pick up.

  11. I thought it was good but hated the backup story. But I hate backups in books that only have 20 pages of story anyway. This is on the cusp of being dropped.

  12. Man, I really wish Pasqual Ferry had done the entire issue. It was extremely jarring to change to an artist that was attempting to emulate Rocafort’s style halfway through the main story. I understand and expect that on over-sized issues, but for a standard 20 page issue, it’s unnecessary.

  13. I thought this was pretty good. I LOVED the Joker backup story. What a surprise.
