I beleive this is the last issue…. I’m actually glad, because this series never really worked for me, but I’m really looking forward to Rick Remender writing the new "Punisher" title solo. I pretty much love everything he does, whereas Fraction is much more hit-or-miss for me.
I noticed the solicits have some of the the information wrong. Matt Fraction writes this issue by himself, and Andy MacDonald is on art chores, not Howard Chaykin. In fact, there’s an interveiw with Andy (along with some sweet preview images) here:
I’m going to miss this title. It has been to me what Astonishing was to X-Men fans, even when Chaykin was drawing. I hope Remender’s Punisher can live up to Fraction’s.
