  1. Oh man, this comic is going to be so awesome.

  2. tomistommy tomistommy says:

Super excited for this. I always love it when indie creators do something crazy with something that’s completely on the other end of the spectrum. Plus, Brandom Graham is pretty amazing.

  3. Kmanifesto Kmanifesto says:

Looking forward to this. I’m totally unfamiliar with the previous Prophet incarnation, but the previews sold me on at least giving this a try.

  4. BCDX97 BCDX97 says:

I remember I loved Prophet #5 by Splatt! That was a long, long time ago.

  5. CAN’T WAIT.

  6. rocknrolla says:

is it Wednesday yet!!! I’m getting excited this looks really good also Glory looks kewl! On the image side I think that book Hell Yeah might be good and some of the DC replacement books too! So I’m starting tohat feeling back that I had in september, fucking stoked on comics wurd!

  7. I’m buying this based on the iFanboy recommendation. Hopefully it’s good!

  8. tomistommy tomistommy says:

This book was insane….I love it.

  9. TomO TomO says:

I think I’m going digital on this one, as there is no guarantee that my (now sole remaining) LCS will be ordering this with any sort of consistency.

Does anyone know if Image does the dollar less after a month like DC does, or should I just buy this now?

    • cubsmodano cubsmodano says:

Have you considered asking your store to order it for you? And if they say no, asking why they don’t.

    • TomO TomO says:

I’ve tried that in the past, but it always seems to somehow get forgotten, and they order it for next week and it shows up two weeks later, which by tht time I’ve forgotten about it and I always end up with holes in my collection in the end. It’s just always been easier to visit an extra store or two in the past, but they’re the last one standing without gearing up for a road trip. Other than that, however…this LCS is a really good store.

      So yeah, digital…

POW. Hands Down. Im extremely (heh) excited for the Extreme relaunch now (Glory looks equally awesome). This is the kind of creativity we need from Marvel and DC

I’m right there with ya 100%. I can’t think of another single issue where I re-read it 2 or 3 times in a row. If this is the kind of quality we can expect from these books, I’m even more excited for Glory.

@Walkerjody: Willie Nelson said that you can’t make a record if you ain’t got nothing to say. You should heed his advice, with regard to making reviews, when you post your self absorbed and unhelpful commentary. Who gives two pins if it’s not for you. Your pathetic little opine, without any backup, isn’t worth an amoeba’s excrement.

  12. trailofdead trailofdead says:

I gotta agree you skydog. Walkerjody could have easily placed their comments here instead of wasting my time with their “review”.

  13. Kmanifesto Kmanifesto says:

    Great experience!

Anyone notice the “monkey love” at the top of page 10? Just a humorous example of the attention to detail Roy gave to this book.

    Can’t wait for issue 2…er, issue 22.

  14. Thank you for mentioning this on the podcast. Loved it. Look forward to the next one.
