This book has been one of the best/worst books I’ve ever encountered. Love the art, love the playful wriiting, but the book also is so incredibly random too…happy I’ve read it, and I’m happy it’s ending!
Art is great on this! I think he’s taking over Ultimate Spider-Man with the relaunch.
I think it will be better as a trade. The first Marvel comics I purchased was Avengers 144 — featuring the debut of the Hellcat — so I’ve always had somewhat of an affinity for the character. I don’t think she’s always been handled that well. Immomen had an intersting approach in this series, which was helped by the incredible artwork, but I don’t think the average fanboy would dig this. Better suited for a young female audience, I think — which was probably the intent.
