I really like the covers in this arc "the deep" each one has a different duo.
The story has been good Tomasi writes books that are fun to read.
I’m looking foward to the next arc when they round up the inmates from the asylum.
As long as Tomasi stay’s on this book I’ll keep reading it. Normally I wouldnt have cared about most of these characters but this books has pulled me in.
See…. I love most of Tomasi’s stuff. This is just killing me because I couldn’t care less about any of the characters or what they are doing. I’m just bored to tears. I MIGHT give this one more week, but man I’m bored here.
I feel like this story has been dragging, but I’m sticking with it.
I just couldn’t do it. I didn’t pick this up because my give a damn was completely busted. I just don’t care about anything going on here AT ALL.
@Jobob: I read this issue, but I feel largely the same way. I love the idea of Alfred & The Outsiders, and I enjoy some of the characters, but this whole thing isn’t doing it for me. Consider this dropped until the next arc starts up.
The best thing about this, by far, was the Rucka/Williams Batwoman preview in the back (although Rucka has shared those pages before).
1/5 without a doubt.
There’s some interesting stuff here, and the use of Alfred is great, but there’s something missing. Still I think it’s an improvement on the past couple of issues so I’m bearing with it for now.
I like that Alfred and the OUTSIDERS followed seperarte paths and ended up at the same location and I thought it was cool Alfred’s past played a role in this.
This is a strait up, 3 star, average comic book, every issue. Which is surprising, when everything else I’ve read by Tomasi is so much better.
Loving the covers though. If iFanboy.com had "Cover Of The Week" voting, this issue has my vote.
PS — The Batwoman preview was AWESOME. Can’t wait for that one.
