  1. Brohoof

  2. My 4 year old daughter loves the comics she’s gotten on Free Comic Book Day, but this is the first book that is on a pull list just for her. She is soooo excited!

  3. yay, woohoo

  4. Judgeing by how much this was pre ordered, i wonder if more people are getting this and not clicking the pull button 😉

    • Uhhhhh. I’m guessing you are definitely correct on this one. If IDW is to be believed, per-orders topped 90k. That will easily make MLP:fim one of the top 20 this month. Plus it’s getting a second printing. I’m unashamedly getting my copy as well as the box set tomorrow at my LCS.

  5. I’m going to pick this up for my nieces. I love getting comics for my nieces and nephews (of which I have 11, I figure I should be able to get at least one of them on my side. Haha)

  6. My daughters first comic pull. She and I are so excited. It’s nice to be able to expose my daughter to something that has been part of my life for over 25 years.

  7. I just read this and am writing up a fair and balanced review of this comic right now.

  8. I had to see what all the fuss was about. Very fun, very well-written (I am a tremendous Katie Cook fan and very happy for her!) and incredibly cute – obviously. But not for me. Not that I don’t get it, and more power to the Bronies, but it’s not for me.

  9. Okay I posted my review. I tried to give a fair and balanced look at this comic since I am not really into geek culture or fandoms, I am looking more from the storytelling and use of the comics medium. Also talked a little about the show for those unfamiliar with it.

    • “I am not really into geek culture or fandoms” That’s really weird to me. You listen to the podcast, as far as I can tell you are a fan of the show, and post on a comic site. Not trying to sound rude here, but that doesn’t make much sense. It’d be like me claiming I wasn’t a sports fan, yet I watch ESPN, listen to sports casts, and often chime in on football scores. I dig sports, just sayin, that’d be weird.

    • Is your review fair and balanced? I only read reviews that are fair and balanced.
