    This one’s tough to stay on.  I’ve liked the mystery, but I still don’t know some crucual things about why they’re at the academy.  With all of the other things going on, especially at DC, I’m not sure how much longer I’ll stick with this.

  2. HailScott HailScott says:

    @misterckent  I recently reread the whole run, and I have to say, it makes more sense when you do it that way, simply because though 10 issues have come and gone, VERY little time has passed in the story.

  3. MegaPhilip MegaPhilip says:

    @misterckent  Reading all of them does help but there’s a great series of articles that help shed light and make things less hazy. They started with 7 (I think) and they’ve been going back and doing the earlier ones. URL for the most recent one is http://www.multiversitycomics.com/2011/06/mga-study-hall-issue-5.html

  4. JimBilly4 JimBilly4 says:

    I keep thinking the mystery reveal is happening too slow and the art is a bit too stiff and that I will drop it… And then there is another amazing issue (like issue 9). It probably makes sense to read this in trade, but for now Spencer still has me.

    @JimBilly4  That’s a good point.  I love a slowly rolled out plot, but I think you’re right.  I should’ve probably trade waited on these.  Once this round is up, I may do just that.

    @MegaPhilip  I’ve actually been reading those as well.  They’re pretty entertaining and it’s nice to get a good review of what’s happened.  I’m definitely needing to re-read them.  Not such a hard thing since I like the additional perspective.  Don’t have any comic friends to chat with about it.

  6. skydog skydog says:

    I like the slow burn.

  7. Jollyboy Jollyboy says:

    @skydog  I like a story to take it’s time too.  Just as long as I’m having fun reading it, which I have been.

  8. dkbrain dkbrain says:

    @MegaPhilip  Thanks.  This helps.

  9. MegaPhilip MegaPhilip says:

    @dkbrain  You’re very welcome.

    I’ve been loving the mystery but just like LOST I don’t have the time or energy to painstakingly inspect every pannel and nuance for meaning. But seeing as how Spencer has said, many times, that MG will go to #100, I’m not worried. All will be revealed in time.

  10. Avistann Avistann says:

    Man this story has so many twists and confusion but not in a bad way. Its just when you think you got everything figured it out, he turns it all around leaving you to question more and more

  11. Jollyboy Jollyboy says:

    @HailScott  Just read all of them in order again.  I had forgotten so much plus noticed things I had never before.   It just made me love it all the more.  Really I just think it’s awesome.

    @MegaPhilip I never thought to relate it to LOST but since you mentioned it, yeah totally.  The slow build and the mystery, yay!
