That’s one AMAZING cover.  Bravo Mr. Coipel, Bravo.

  2. keith7198 keith7198 says:

Ok, Thor…Galactus…that’s a recipe for success. Unfortunately last issue was kind of a letdown. Here’s hoping Fraction and Coipel get it together.

  3. Avistann Avistann says:

I loved last issue and Coipel’s art is outstanding. Some of the previews of this issue looked great

  4. keith7198 keith7198 says:

Coipel is really good. It’s funny, the first time I really noticed him was on his Avengers run with Geoff Johns. I hated his work. Now he’s one of my favorites.

  5. Flavia Flavia says:

I’m really geeking out on this series. Thor mano a mano with the Silver Surfer (and he’s not  zombie Thor so he can’t eat him this time.) The art is gorgeous. Coipel had a series of panels where some diner patrons react to the Surfer flying buy and shattering the windows. Gorgeous.

  6. Coipel’s art is seriously gorgeous but Fraction better step up here…make Thor the badass he is.  He better unleash Thor’s power in this issue.

  7. SteenAR SteenAR says:

I’ve been loving this series so far. I can’t wait to see Thor kick the crap out of Silver Surfer and Galactus.

    Coipel’s art is gorgeous.

  8. RahUniQue RahUniQue says:

    I am loving this book.

  9. Franktiger Franktiger says:

Coipel’s art surely saves this book from Fraction’s piss-poor Thor dialogue.

  10. Martholamew says:

I’ve also been loving this! Is it worth going back and getting the JMS Coipel Thor omnibus?

  11. @Martholamew  YES!  That was an absolutely fantastic run, definitely worth getting in omnibus form.  I read them in single issues and was blown away at the time.

  12. Martholamew says:

Awesome! I kept debating it, but that helped me make up my mind.

  13. drdeeeznutz drdeeeznutz says:

This was really really a great issue-Art is amazing as always-Galactus never looked cooler.

  14. TheSquirrel TheSquirrel says:

Excellent issue, this series has really sucked me in from the beginning.

  15. mikeandzod21 mikeandzod21 says:

Best issue yet. Loved the stuff with Volstag at the beginning and the stuff with the Surfer was great.

  16. SteenAR SteenAR says:

I think this is my POTW but I haven’t read Rocketeer yet so I’m waiting.

There were some amazing moments in this though. As I told my friend “Damn you Matt Fraction for making my like a Marvel book…”

Although… it’s probably more Coipel that’s making me like this…

  17. cprevite cprevite says:

AMAZING artwork. The shot of Galactus sitting on the moon while Surfer talks to him is unreal. I want it as a large print.

  18. neftones neftones says:

    this is just great comics.

  19. Cronin Cronin says:

I’m having a real hard time with the dialogue in this book. I love and Thor and Galactus, but Im really disappointed with this story. I wanted to love this.

  20. Fraction’s Thor is a lot angrier and testier than I’ve seen him.

At least Coipel makes the book look amazing. I’m struggling to imagine another artist doing Thor justice (And I’ve got the whole Ferry run).

  21. Another great issue the only thing i would like 2 c is Coipel plzz make them wrap around covers i think the would look even more amazing
