MASKS #3
With criminals and corrupt politicians in power, the masked vigilantes are on the run. The Spider ventures to Albany to investigate the newly elected governor who has signed all of the unjust measures into law, while Green Hornet seeks to find the secret masters of the Justice Party. The Shadow encounters other heroes who have run afoul of the Black Legions, and still more individuals are inspired to don masks and take to the streets in the name of justice.

I really hope this issue is good. The first issue was awsome, good writing and art. And everything on the second issue was just horrible.
Unfortunately Alex Ross is not the artist except for issue 1. Why not? He should do the art every issue, not just one.
I have the suspicion that the lead time Ross would need for 12 issues worth of interiors might be impractical . . .
I’m digging this series so much, it has me checking out other Dynamite titles, especially Green Hornet and The Shadow.
Investigation is the main element of this issue, as the team comes together. The pace is a little bit slow, but all-in-all a good issue.
A little disappointed with this issue…..I didnt really dig the art and the story was really dragging
Maybe I’m alone in this, but I can’t stand the art after issue #1. The coloring looks hurried and some of the line work just doesn’t seem quite right. I was totally on board after the first issue but I think I’m going to have to drop this unless a new art team takes on this series…
I’m a bit underwhelmed by the art, but I’m sticking with the series.
