War Machine #2

War Machine #2

In the blasted heart of occupied Aqiria, the mercenaries of Eaglestar International literally write the laws, committing heinous atrocities with no repercussions. But today, the loopholes are closing -- around their necks! Who will pay the final price when the skies explode with the arrival of
the world's only eight foot tall, hundred-gun-equipped,
shoulder-rocket-mounted, titanium-vibranium-alloy-armored, kill-number-counting, one-man-army for truth, justice, and good old-fashioned payback? And what does last issue's mind-blowing ending mean for Jim Rhodes, the shattered man inside this shocking new War Machine?

#1 blew me away. I look forward to War Machine and Iron Man being two of the best books in comics. Not just Marvel. All of them :)

I was reluctant to pick this up, because I thought that war machine, with his ridiculous amnount of weaponry was kind of stupid ninites overkill. But acutally looking at this comic, and it's splash pages with war machine and his highly highly ridiculous amout of weaponry, I can't help but find it damn awesome. Damn awesome. I like that this comic doesn't shy away from the overkill, but completely embrases it. Leonardo Manco can draw some badassery. His Ares looks crazy as hell. Plus Pak is telling a good story.

This is where I drop. This story is tired.
