Awesome Sakai cover there. Usagi is pretty easy to get into; most issues are stand alone.
Posted by cromulent on 11/02/09 at 06:02 PMThis was.....a bit of a disappointment. Overall I'm sure this series will read fantastic in trade, but this finale issue was kinda blah.
Max Cannon, Jeffrey Brown, and Michael Kupperman had great ideas. Other then that, it was a bit boring to read. Shame, cause this title was on a roll for the last two issues. Still, it was a great idea by Marvel and I hope they try this again next year.
Posted by TheNextChampion on 11/04/09 at 03:05 PMI enjoyed the 2nd issue the most out of the series. What sold me on this third issue was Jeffrey Brown's Fantastic Four story.
Posted by vinh on 11/04/09 at 07:15 PMYeah, huge drop off in quality. There was a lot that I outright skipped in this one.

This has been one of the best things to come out for Marvel this year. Can't wait to see what's in store for the final issue.
Also, this will be my first exposure to Stan Sakai. Always wanted to see something he's done.
