I think I'm just going to collect the New Mutants issues of this crossover.  I don't want to buy any extra books, so no X-Force or X Necrosha.  We'll see how that goes.

New Mutants is the only X-book I'm buying right now, and honestly I haven't been very satisfied with it.  I thought the Baldus art on issue 5 was absolutely hideous, and since I'm not following the crossovers, I was a little lost.  Hope the story gets interesting soon, as I really want to like this title.  I was a big NM fan back in the 80's (pre-Sienkiewicz art) and want to see these characters together and be successful.

Uncanny, Legacy, X-Force, and New Mutants are all going to start building up to a huge Crossover involving all 4, so this should definately get moving.

Glad Neves is back on art duty.  The art last issue was a bit...jarring.

I guess I won't be pick this up. I have not plans on reading a cross over with X-force.

Now if it was a cross over with X-factor, that I would read.

@ JoeCom - its an "x-universe crossover", x-factor is on the outside of that

@JFernandes i agree. Compared to the first arc, the art looked horrible. But now that Neves is back i'll give this another shot

THIS WAS SO BADASS. I GOTTA BE HONEST I DIDN'T LIKE DOUG BUT MAN DID THEY PULL IT OFF. I'm REINVIGERATED for the rest of the series.

Wasn't impressed with the first book enough to collect the series.  But this was a great tie-in issue.

^Agreed. I wasn't going to pick this up, but I did so after I enjoyed the Necrosha one-shot more than I thought I would. This was solid. I probably won't keep buying the series, but this was def alright

Its a little suspect making Doug such a badass, but its a creative use of his powers, so I'll buy it.  I'm very excited for Necrosha

Posted by cutty on 11/01/09 at 02:11 PM

It is a reasonable extension of his powers. If Doug had not died, it would not be crazy for him to learn to "read" other types of language, body language included. Then he would always know what you were going to do at the same time you did. This would allow him to become a bad ass in fights... But I think many years of training might be required, as knowing that I want to punch you in the face does not a flying backflip kick make. He may have the spider-sense now (sorta), but that should not make him into Spider-man. Then again, he is half techno-organic robot, so maybe that is where he gets the extra oomph.

The jury finds the defendent to be (barely) within the bounds of comic book logic, but warns he should not push it.
