Marvel Zombies 3 #3 (OF 4)
The epic battle of Zombie vs. Robot shambles on! All that stands between the flesh-crazed armies of the Marvel Zombies and the entirety of the Marvel Universe is...Aaron "Machine Man" Stack? And if he has to shoot, slice, explode, melt, dissolve, chop, crush, dismember, fry, electrocute, bludgeon, blast, harpoon, and, of course, insult every super-powered cannibal in the Zombieverse, well, that's just what he's gonna do. But unbeknownst to him, the Zombie Kingpin has already hatched a fiendish plot to ensure that all of the M.U. will be consumed by an undead apocalypse!

@Hawkboy: Agreed
I groaned like everyone else when I heard they were making a third zombie story. It probably didnt help either that the annoucement came right after their 'Marvel Apes' retarded idea being annouced. But this has been fun from the start and it is much better in my eyes then the other two MZ stories.

I too scoffed at the idea of another MZ but after reading a preview on Newsarama, I had to pick this up. Fred van Lente and Kev Walker are putting MZ 2 to shame with this great story.

Posted by COWoDOOM on 12/03/08 at 08:10 PMVan Lente and Walker are really delivering! With only one issue to go, I'm enjoying this more than either of its predecessors!
Posted by rwpos on 12/07/08 at 01:41 PMAlso, I was a fan of Nextwave, and this series feels like Nextwave (the scenes with Machine Man have that tone) meets Marvel Zombies (the scenes back on Marvel 616 Earth), and for me that's been a real blast!
Posted by rwpos on 12/07/08 at 01:44 PMI am enjoying this, but I admit, I only bought the first ish to spite Kirkman. It came out right after his "manifesto" and I was a little pissed. But then I recognized Kev Walker's name from Magic: The Gathering card art, and I've enjoyed what little work I've read by Fred Van Lente, so this book has been fun. And @rwpos, you're right about the Nextwave feel that Machine Man brings to this.
