I have to agree on the previews. They look very nice.
I like what Marvel is doing here. They are plucking the most interesting portions of this insanely deep storyline and taking it even deeper. I would like to see them do something like this with some obscure piece of Tolkin mythology.
Posted by stuclach on 04/13/09 at 07:30 PMI'm gonna cry when the DT series is done with. I havent checked out the preview...but Jae Lee not on pencils...don't know if it will have the same DT feel.
Posted by Fvckstick on 04/13/09 at 07:36 PMI love dark tower...but i felt like this wasn't even written by Furth. The whole issue seemed to take a crazy turn. The series hasn't focused this much on magic so maybe thats why i felt like it wasn't a DT book. I also felt like i got confused quite a few times and had to re-read a lot of the pages, which again, is weird cause DT has always had the great narration that had it's "lore words" but was easy enough to follow. Will reread later and hopefully i wont be as dissapointed.
Posted by Fvckstick on 04/15/09 at 06:44 PMI dont see them ending Dark Tower anytime soon. The Fall of Gilead is coming out in May. I imagine as long as it is selling as well as it is they will keep it going.

The preview pages I saw looked amazing. I hope to see Isanove doing more interior work post-Dark Tower.
