Cable #17
Hope is lost. Literally—lost in time, with Cable stranded in the future, unable to travel back to save her. For the first time in Hope’s short life, the so-called "mutant messiah" has to fend for herself... and now she's hiding out in a futuristic city born of the ashes of Cable's greatest enemy, Stryfe.

@kellansmith: I agree Messiah War was a let down but the story line will continue later in the third part of the trilogy...ugh. The last issue kicks off a good arc I think and I bet in the time they are separated Hope ages more and starts to see her powers emerge. I also heard that X-Man Nate Grey is appearing in Dark X-Men so you can bet he'll proably show in Cable at some point down the road.

Posted by mountainwindcat on 08/13/09 at 10:01 AMnot to bad. things are moving at least. they are slowly ageing the baby, so she may become the first marvel child to grow up.
Posted by CaptianJack on 08/14/09 at 11:12 AMPretty good installment, I thought. I also really enjoyed Bishop's new lock as "Archbishop." I still want him to eventually be revealed to be a Skrull... but that's another story. 4/5 for me.
Posted by PraxJarvin on 08/14/09 at 10:05 PMIt took me a long time to get into this book but I'm hooked now.

Although I wasn't too excited about the conclusion to Messiah War the last issue of this book came out full steam and got me excited for this arc. Can't wait to pick this up tomorrow.
