I would say that this will be my first taste of Lobster Johnson, but I’m sure someone would twist my words and take it the wrong way.
Anyways, to avoid that calamity, let me just say that I’ll be pulling Lobster Johnson.
ha,
considering abe is a fishman, i bet that taste would be lovecraftian
pulling lobster johnson…..hilarious
I’m really looking forward to this book. Tonci Zonjic has a style that lends itself well to the pulp genre, and Mignola and Arcudi always weave a great yarn. @Kman good to see you’re enjoying the Mignolaverse and all it has to offer.
I’m going to try this out because I really liked Tonci Zonjic’s art in “Who Is Jake Ellis?”
@TurdSandwich – I’m really enjoying BPRD:HoE Russia and I’m looking forward to this year’s slate of slate Mignola-related titles,
Tonci Zonjic is fantastic
I checked out Zonjic’s blog (lungbug.blogspot.com) and his preview art for this series looks outstanding!

There is a 3 page preview of Brian Wood & Becky Cloonan’s new Conan title in the back of this issue. It looks great!
good issue, though The Shade may have out ‘pulped’ it this week:) it’s a fun read, that i’ll likely keep getting.
and yes that Conan preview is sick. sick meaning good. it’s good.
rock lobster!
word association!
This was a perfect issue.
Excellent art! I’ve never heard of this fellow, but I love the clean style. I gave this 4 stars because there were some pretty awkward transitions and pacing issues.
