  2. The Legion deserved better than this series usually delivered.

    Heck, a solid artist who could stay on the title would have even helped, IMO.

  3. It was just so mediocre — if that. Should not have picked up on the events of the previous title. The Legionnaires should have been shown as more competent. Too many interesting members left to make room for the boring newbies (who never should have been made full members!). Art was hit or miss. Talented guys, but they weren’t quite ready for primtime — not in the way Dave Cockrum or Keith Giffen were when the took over the title. The Legion is a great concept, but the execution of the series was lacking.

    This issue made me sad but also kinda happy. I love the Legion and hope they will be back someday. I don’t think this series deserved as much criticism as it got, but it’s a moot point now.
