  1. Just picking this up for Daredevil. But looking forward to seeing some Hulk!

  2. This almost seems like an Avenging Spider-Man/team-up book. I’m pulling for a Hulk/Silver Surfer tag team against Galactus.

  3. I a loving this comic and I love Waid’s DD too. This comic is going to be so much fun to read. Hope to see more of these two in the future

  4. I’m glad Simonson is done. I liked his art twenty years ago…but it just doesn’t work in this day and age.

    • Totally agree, wasn’t feeling the art whatsoever on that last arc.

Loved Scalera’s run on Remender’s Secret Avengers recently, so looking forward to getting more of him.

    • Hmmmm I disagree, while his style might be considered old-school now. Once in a while, some old-school “fun” like the last arc was is great! I wouldn’t pull a book with Simonson as the constant artist, but you gotta admit it was refreshing to read something that isn’t drawn on photoshop for once! 😉

    • I really loved the old school art. Really fun and refreshing to see and would actually love to see more of the same in the future.

  5. I’ve never read anything with Scalera art and only seen him on the ‘Weekly Sketch Up’ articles. But the previous of this looks ridiculously pretty so I’m excited to read this.

  6. Also picking this up for Daredevil. Rivera cover is a plus too 🙂 This makes the only issue I grab this week.

  7. I like last page villain sitting in a dark room in full costume drinking a glass of wine. Does he pull his mask up each time to take a sip or is a drink through mask what he’s been working on since the thunderbolts?

  8. This was a lot of fun!

Now I am a huge fan of Matteo Scalera cause this was a good looking issue. Although I can’t even begin to describe Scalera’s art because it’s a style I don’t see often. Kind of sketchy with an anime vibe to it is the best I can think of. But in terms of story this was great to read. Basically you put Waid’s other successful series in here and how can you lose? Then you have a great reveal at the end that should bring even more fun to the next issue. Great times with this book in the coming weeks that’s for sure.

    5/5 (POTW)

  9. Feels like Waid is starting to hit his stride on this title. The Hulk as a character only works for me if Bruce Banner works. And in this issue I really liked Bruce’s characterization.

  10. This was a very good issue. Best part was when Hulk walks through the wall in the bar.
