New readers jump on with this issue, this book is marvel’s answer to booster gold, lots of fun for people who love classic marvel storytelling in a fresh way
I’ll repeat what Roi said in big capital letters
THIS IS A GREAT JUMPING ON POINT! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, IF ANYONE DIDNT TRY THIS SERIES YET THIS IS PERFECT FOR ALL OF YOU!!!!
You got my interest peaked…I’ll pull it!
@Next and Roi I agree. There is hardly any continuity in this series, just hugely entertaining stories. And if you are at all curious about what has been going on in this book, Herc features probably the most entertaining recap page in comics.
@Neal So true. I always forget about it until I open the book and it makes me laugh everytime.
*wimpers* I dont ask much from you *crosses fingers*
But please…..look into your heart and pick this issue up. It’s a great jumping on point…
*crawls to you* and I made it my Pick of the week!….Doesnt that mean anything to you!? Doesnt it!!!??
The main story gets something like a 4.3. The back up gets a five.
I picked this up for a couple reasons, but still haven’t read it.
First, Pak impressed me with Magneto Testament and I enjoyed Planet Hulk well enough.
Second, my store did not have my copy of Thunderbolts and Hulk, so I decided to pick up another book.
Lastly, TheNextChampion recommended (understatement) Deadpool and I really liked the first five issues of that series (not that into the last couple issues though).
Hope this is good.
This book would be my pick if not for The Sword which managed to snag it from this.
This gave me a really good laugh at the end of the 1st story. Great book!
I did like the anime style art in the second story. But for some reason the guy’s Hulk looks really off. I think in one panel he looks just as tall as Cho….that isnt right lol
