I am going to miss David Hine's run - he elevated the Spawn story to a whole new level and did more for the book than anyone short of McFarlane for creating the character. I am hoping for a battle royale like none other in this issue :-)

THis issue was a bit quick. You can really tell they're hurrying so they can get #185 out this month.

It was not the SHOOT OUT that I was hoping for and I really don't like how it ended with loose threads but since McFarlane wrote this one (and Hine plotted it) that is to be expected.

"The end of an era" indeed. It was a lot of fun, and a lot of great comics, but the next issue looks to be something special.
