was it josh who brang up this book on the show? Ty josh! I lucked out and found the first two issues in my LCS last week. I loved them! Cant wait for this one!

@Aquaman-nay my leige, t'was not the Flanagan.  Neither of the iFanboys have read this book.  Must have been one of the staff writers.

wait, forget my last statement.  I was thinking of a completely different book for some reason.  They did indeed mention this book before.

Sure hope I remember this book by the time it has enough issues for a trade.

For all who are following this Title, I spoke to Joe Kelly at the NYCC about Four Eyes.  He apologized for the delays but admitted the initial solicitations for the book were a bit overzealous and he totally takes all the heat on it.  He is working with an artist that HE (Joe Kelly) completely misunderstood how long it would take to finish such a highly detailed piece of art (language barriers will do this ;) ).

The delayed the next for solicitations until they got a few in the can.  They are now releasing each issue every other month (6 issues a year).  He also told me this is a finite 20 issue story.

I think this book is the bees knees and STRONGLY suggest anyone who is curious give it a try. You will NOT be sorry.

I would already give a "good" indy title slack when it comes to delays but with a book this good I'd have a hard time ever turning it down, regardless of how late it was

It's been far too long since the last issue, but 6 times a year seems just fine. Can't wait to read this. Highly anticipated.

It's worth the wait, I'm glad its not quite the wait that Rasl readers are forced to bog through.

@thefreakytiki- Kelly just did an interview on IGN saying "I can basically expand or contract the middle based on how the book does and how the audience responds." In the context that this quote was placed, it appears that if the book does sell well it won't be finite.

More people need to read this book.

Grabbed the last copy at my LCS today.  Once every 2 months would be fine by me.  I'll just have to reread the prior issue before each new issue.

@Tiki- I never said not to believe him, I only supplied you with a contradictory quote that he gave to a news outlet but a few days ago.

I am loving this book. Another great issue. This kid has balls of steel.

Crazy good stuff.  I don't mind waiting 2 months for each issue if its this good

Great art, great story.  Easily my POTW!  Sucks that we have to wait so long though.

Wow, that was ridiculously good.  This is now my most anticipated book.  The wait makes is made much easier by the fact that it as a definitie ending we are working towards, and I can easily wait for this art.  Fantastic.

For the record, we did bring this up on the show when both issues came out.  I've been reading it all along.

Looks like Conner didn't pull/read Four Eyes.  Even so, based on his review of Capt. I don't think FE would have been his POTW.

If I could give 6 stars to a book... this issue deserves it!  great execution of written story (retelling what has happened for a new reader and propelling the story along) and magnificent sequential art (Make mine Max!).

I truly feel this book is something special in out beloved storytelling medium.
