I dropped after the first arc, but I’ll give this a shot. Can’t go wrong with Casey and Nathan Fox’s art is great. My first exposure to Fox was his work on Pigeons from Hell from Dark Horse maybe about four years ago and it had me floored!
Going to give this a shot
Seemed slow at first but that ending has me just interested enough to give it a round 2 and see if it wins me over.
This was fun. I dunno who these people are or what’s going on, but it was a lot of fun.
Yeah, I’m in the same boat. I jumped on because of the creative team, and the ifanboy recommendation. I enjoyed this enough to stay tuned in. I think Nathan Fox is awesome, I love the work him and the guys on Blue Estate have been doing. This story has him drawing all kinds of supernatural mayhem, it’s great. I did think some of the panels required me to figure things out a bit, because there was so much going on, and the loose brushstrokes made it confusing. But I thought the overall style and mood of the book were fantastic.

Great issue! I’m not too sure I like what happened to Amber, and Kurt is going crazy, but the art really pushed me over the edge! Five stars! Can’t wait for more.
Weak art after Capullo. Total turnaround on the characters. This is a HUGE let down. I like Casey in general but the difference in the characters is unbelievable! I haven’t seen a 360 like this since Green/Grey Hulk. So sad to see a series fall so fast after only 18 issues…*sigh*
I thought Daniel was pretty much the same, and Kurt’s changes are obviously on purpose, as even Daniel was confused by how he was acting. I have loved this series from the beginning, and Nathan Fox’s art is just so freaking beautiful! And that cover is already the definitive Haunt image for me.
