This series really needs a kick in the butt. GA is one of my favorite characters (He got me back into comics!) and I really want to love this series… but it’s so hard.
This may be my last issue of this series. Prax is right lets get this series back on track.
You both have more patience than me. I dropped this series a long long time ago, in a galaxy far far away.
This issue was a step up from the last, I thought. It’s still not great, but I think we’re finally getting to see the characters we’re expecting here. I also have to give Kriesberg and team credit for being the most creative in how they use their "second feature" space. 3/5
NO MORE DAMN MOVIE QUOTES!!!! But PraxJarvin is right, this issue was better.
@Aquaman There’s a song quotation buried in there, too. (Which Peter Tomasi is usually guilty of)
On the one hand I was always annoyed at how Cupid, apparently an average person, suddenly became an elite archer/martial artist who could go toe-to-toe with Merlyn, among others. Now, of course, we find out she used to be a special forces soldier who has memory loss. I can’t figure out it a huge eff’ing cliche is better or worse than a huge eff’ing plot hole. Either way, unimpressed.
