The storyarc with the child Storm running from the Shadow King was one of the weirdest of all Claremont’s prolonged ramblings. I didn’t dislike it, but it was just really weird. It was never talked about afterwards, not even by x-fandom. It’s like everyone just agreed never to reference it again lest the Shadow King possess them or something. Issue 267 in itself was a weird effing issue. Totally bizarre, from the story to the layouts and pencils. What a weird story it was that brought us Gambit.
