Very excited about Perez. Anyone know the last time he did interiors?

  2. Slockhart Slockhart says:

He did a story in Wonder Woman 600. As far as a full issue though… Legion of 3 Worlds maybe?

  3. misterckent misterckent says:

This is one book I’m picking up for so many reasons.  In fact, if this wasn’t even Flashpoint related, I’d still be picking it up.  I also love trying to find the mole in the group.  Three issues is the perfect size for that type of fun.  It’ll keep the momentum up!

  4. AmirCat AmirCat says:

@Slockhart  – Oh yeah! Forgot about WW.

@misterkent – mole stories are awesome.

  5. Avistann Avistann says:

I am on the fence for this tie in. I am already signed up for a lot of tie ins but this does look like a lot of fun.

  6. PraxJarvin PraxJarvin says:

I’m impressed to see Shade the Changing Man brought up again.

  7. MegaPhilip MegaPhilip says:

@PraxJarvin  Me too, and super stoked!! This is the part of Flashpoint that I’m most excited for.

  8. robbydzwonar robbydzwonar says:

I have no idea what this title is all about but I’m still buying it anyway.

  9. SamMorgan SamMorgan says:

Milligan and Perez = yes please!
    Flashpoint = f**k right off!

  10. SteenAR SteenAR says:

Perez’s art is gorgeous in this. I will definitely be buying the next 2 issues.

  11. ntn1015 says:

I don’t know anything about these characters in the normal DCU so this didn’t mean much to me. I really don’t understand the praise of the art either. It just looks like i was reading a 30 year old comic book.

  12. Avistann Avistann says:

Eh was not a fan of this really. I made no connection with these characters and the story seemed jumpy.

  13. This was insane and it was great. Can’t wait for the next issue.

  14. Skyfire124 Skyfire124 says:

This was my least favorite of the week’s tie-ins.  I enjoyed seeing Shade the Changing Man, and I enjoyed seeing the twist with Empress at the end, but otherwise this story was really just too chaotic for me to follow well.

  15. MegaPhilip MegaPhilip says:

This was the tie-in I was looking forward to the most and it did not disappoint. I loved everything about this! I was not completely sure what was with June ( I understand she’s the girl from the castle, but I’m not sure what her significance is) but I am excited to find out.

Really really really wish that Milligan would get the opportunity to write a Shade book again. The reprints of the rest of the trades would be great too!

  16. kennyg kennyg says:

What the fuck did I just read? Seriously. WTF.

  17. MegaPhilip MegaPhilip says:

@kennyg  Haha, that was some good old Vertigo goodness in the “mainstream” DCU. I can see why non-Vertigo readers might be turned off. I loved it though.

  18. Franktiger Franktiger says:

I’d say both GPerez and JRomitaJr are shells of their former selves, my adoration and fondness of their past work would prevent me from calling them outright washed up, but almost sad to see what their work has turned into relative to their heyday, but to be fair this decline is only natural for these to legends/gods of comic book art, I buy books by them now only as a tribute, but this book wasn’t enuf otherwise, unpulling this series.

  19. Anxy Anxy says:

I’m a huge Shade fan, and this thing bored the crap outta me. I don’t have a lot of hope for Justice League Dark.
