  1. Throughly enjoyed ‘Betrayal’. I thought Bechko and Hardman did an excellent job fitting that series into the overall timeline.

I’ve been following Marc Laming’s twitter for the past couple of months and his ape works looks awesome. Can’t wait to pick this up!

  2. More greatness!

  3. I’m in. The last mini was excellent.

  4. I have been hearing enough good things about Planet of the Apes to want to give it a shot. Is this a good place to start or should I start elsewhere?

    • If possible, I’d say start with the “Betrayal of the Planet of the Apes” book; but hopefully this is accessible for new readers as well.

    • What cubs said. I HIGHLY recommend Betrayal but I imagine you can jump into this.

    • I decided to give this a whirl and see if it was to my liking and yep…it’s pretty awesome! My LCS is having their anniversary sale with 50%off back issues so I will be getting Betrayal then…

  5. Loved Betrayel and look forward to this big time.admission, I am not an Apes fan. Honestly do not recall ever watching a complete movie but I jumped on board because of Gabe Hardman and really enjoyed the first series.

  6. Got this without having ever read an Ape book or seeing an ape movie….This was awesome. There was so much story and character building in this first issue and I really enjoyed the art. It felt like a great jumping on point, but now I have to go hunt down the Betrayal mini to see how they are connected…Definitely my pick of the week.

  7. Why is this one of the only Boom books not available digitally?
