  1. This cover is awesome. I also like how Penguin looks a bit like Mr. Peanut.

  2. That is for sure an awesome cover!! Penguin is a whole new bad ass character in the DCU as we have seen from the mini that was just out and that was intense! Batman is going to really get a run for his money now even from some of his old lame characters; whom now seem to be much more dangerous than the used to be.

  3. i think for me this has gone the same way as action comics 1st few issues where awesome then just kind of went of the subject a little im still wanting to know where joker is whats he up to and what does he look like now with out his face why did he have it taken off….

  4. Either I’m reading too many Batman books, or this is starting to feel like too many stories encompassed in one.

  5. I’m picking this up since I read Joel Gomez is doing some of the art. Love his stuff.

  6. Definitely time to drop this book…

  7. I have no idea what’s going on in this book or why I should care. It really stands quite weak, especially in comparison to Snyder’s Batman. It’s a shame, really.

  8. So whatever happened to the Joker?

  9. Yeah, I have been enjoying the art in this book more so than the story. It isn’t that the story sucks, it just isn’t very engaging. I think it would be better off as a hard boiled DETECTIVE book, with Batman doing a little more street level crime solving, as opposed to the wild supervillian stuff. Just my two cents

  10. ugh, this book gets worse every month. Everyone liked the Dollmaker thing sure, but I looked back over issue 2 and 3, it was already going downhill then. By the conclusion of the Dollmaker storyline (that ridiculous car switch escape Bats never would have not seen coming) this book had worn out its welcome.

Anybody remember the weird, Anti-occupy comments Batman made? or that Batman/Penguin split cover? So lame.

As for the art, I think I just like it because Batman’s cowl always looks like Frank Miller drew it:) Dropping this book next month!

  11. Boy did I hate this issue. I agree with most of what was already said. The stories in this title just don’t seem to engage me much. I find myself hurrying to finish each issue. I too would prefer more of a detective/crime noir book.

  12. this books needs a new writer and fast but it’s selling too well so looks like wur stuck with Tiny for a while.

  13. I’m finding it more and more difficult to read this book each month. I agree with what other people are saying. There are just too many things going on and I don’t think Daniel can handle it properly. I think I’m going to bail after the Owls cross-over. If it doesn’t have me interested again by then I’m done. I still love his art though. And I also think more of a “detective” take on this book would do it some good.

  14. The story feels way too disjointed, as it has with the last few issues.

  15. Took me a week but, I finally read this issue and to be honest this was just not a very good story at all way to simplistic and boring. Out of all the Bat-books this is right there on the bottom with Batwing and Batwoman, and I am sure Batman Inc. will be right there with them. Oh well better luck next story arc I guess??

  16. Good art but I don’t like the writing on this book nearly as much as Snyder’s Batman or Batman the Dark Knight.
