@mgriffith – I agree. Gargoyle is one of my favorite characters – his mini series was fantastic – great underused character. Moondragon, Cloud, Hellstorm, Nighthawk, etc. There are a lot of really cool characters that have been on the team. I am hoping the current series sticks around for a while so we get to revisit them. There is something about the combination of characters on the Defenders that makes them more interesting to me in a group setting rather than individually.

I think this is a Official Marvel handbook type book for all prior Defenders.
That is the impression I got from the cover art. And there have been a lot of interesting characters in the Defenders!

That Gargoyle series was quite good.
Most incarnations of The Defenders/New Defenders had interesting characters that really worked well as a team.
I never got into the Secret Defenders series, or the Erik Larsen title, though.
Missed this issue, so will have to put it on order from my LCS. They only ordered one copy and I missed it.
