“THE MAN BEHIND THE MASK”
You’ve seen Deadpool in countless (and we mean countless) comics before – but never like this. Really. Want answers about Deadpool? Like why does he refuse to remove his weird red-and-black mask? Why does he only answer to the name “Deadpool?” Was he really part of a black bag special ops team that nobody has ever heard of? Were his teammates really given names like “Bulllseye,” “Silver Sable” and “Domino”? What did Wilson know, and when did he know it? A bloody massacre in Sinaloa, Mexico has left hundreds dead and disgraced soldier Wade Wilson has a LOT of explaining to do.

Going to give this a shot. I don’t know what exactly this series is aiming for in terms of tone, but I enjoy Swierczynski for the most part, so I’ll be checking this out.
If the tone is right.. It could be really good.
lawlz.
I really am a glutton for punishment.
I questioned this til i saw DUANE SWIERCZYNSKI was writing this. I’m all in now.
Duane Swierczynski is actually really good at writing Deadpool. He did the Cable/Deadpool reunion and a story in #900….he’s got the tone for him down.
Having said that, I’ll trade wait on this. Cause while Jason Pearson is a good cover artist (and his Deadpool covers are fantastic) I don’t like him as an interior artist. Style doesn’t really work for 22 pages straight.
I’m a Duane fan. I’ve enjoyed his run on Iron Fist and Cable (though that one dragged at the end). I just can’t justify buying $3.99 miniseries anymore when I can just wait for a discounted trade.
Oh, maybe this is why I haven’t heard from @WadeWilson for a while.
Loved Duane on Iron Fist.
I know Jason asked, Is the Market Saturated, Or Are You Just Happy to See Me? but geez do we really need other one?
This was quite enjoyable. Well written and no hackey humor. Can’t stand the art though.
I was half asleep when I read this, need to reread.
It took me most of the book to realize it was out of continuity. This was alot of fun and the art was amazing.
