DEADPOOL TEAM-UP #883

The country is in the middle of an economic meltdown and everyone is feeling the burn, especially your favorite Merc with a Mouth. Deadpool realizes that there’s no government bailout for super-powered mercenaries and when clients stop paying up, he’s forced to do the unthinkable… Look for a job. 1. I think I’ll get this only because of the cover, and Skottie

  2. Not a Deadpool fan but actually kind of interested in this since Skottie Young is doing the writing.

  3. @ThePunisherMAX  My thoughts exactly.

  4. Preview looked pretty good actually.

Shame this couldn’t have been more of a better series. Started strong with Van Lente doing a Hercules issue….but then it quickly got worse with each issue. Although last issue was pretty good with The Watcher.

So there’s a TNC top tip: Go find Team-Up #899 and #883 cause those are the only one’s you should read….unless this issue is good as well.

  5. There were several great issues throughout the series. The Thing one was excellent.

  6. …and so was the Machine Man issue.

  7. @Noto: I forgot about the wrestling match with Thing…..that was good, but not great. Also I didn’t care for the Machine Man story.

  8. @TheNextChampion  I’m sure he’ll have your fleshy head for that.

  9. Well this is my favorite Marvel title right now; easily!! That is it read it love it do it!!

  10. So ends a short era.

This was a pretty good comic and Young has a great sense of humor. Loved the final page of this and it is my favorite panel of the week. Perez’s art is pretty good though and I loved his DBZ homage towards the end.

  11. I didn’t know this was the final issue!  So sad!

Some issues were hit and miss, but they were always good for a quick one shot story.

Nice to go out on a high note, I enjoyed this and Ramon Perez killed it on the art.  He should be doing more Deadpool stuff.

  12. @Noto – That was good stuff.

  13. Well this was my favorite Marvel title in my stack. Truly you are corrected it has gone out on a high note and I loved the numbering…..
