Unwritten #3
"A wish-I'd-thought-of-it premise, beautifully executed. Highly recommended for anyone who thinks that fantasy can do more than just help you escape the real world." - Brian K. Vaughan
Tom Taylor travels to the place where Frankenstein was conceived - the same place his father wrote the first Tommy Taylor book. And, of course, that can't be just an innocent coincidence...

Posted by greekst on 07/06/09 at 06:22 PMReally like this title. It is NOT Harry Potter! Not even close. What book are you Potter people reading?!

See you in in trades, little buddy...
Posted by Slockhart on 07/06/09 at 07:46 PMDamn... iFanboy really needs one of those 2 minute-ish windows to edit comments...
Posted by Slockhart on 07/06/09 at 07:47 PMI really hope this series goes the distance, I don't know how many Vertigo cancellations I can take.
Posted by skeets on 07/06/09 at 07:48 PMI'm lovin me some vertigo dis week.
Posted by MrGlass on 07/06/09 at 07:54 PMi think this will show where the books going and if i want to follow
Posted by peterporker on 07/06/09 at 08:49 PMIts gonna be cool to see how they weave classic lit into the story.
Posted by WinTheWonderboy on 07/06/09 at 10:57 PMAfter this book, I think this story will be fleshed out just enough to see if I want to continue. I've had some genuine light fun with this book. Not been so impressed that I wouldn't be willing to drop it though.
Posted by vadamowens on 07/07/09 at 01:42 AMThe book has been decent so far, but Gross' art has been really sloppy in my opinion. Maybe that is how it always looks? I read American Jesus (Mark Millar wrote it and Peter Gross was on art) and his pencils looked pretty good. The coloring was really good as well. Maybe Gross needs a good colorist to make his art shine?
Posted by EnFuego on 07/08/09 at 07:17 AMI got my books and when i got home my copy seemed screwed up. The printer seemed to be missing pages. did anyone else get thgis
Posted by cyberauron on 07/08/09 at 11:34 AMI got goosebumps reading it. Its so perfectly written for me.
Posted by rockingeek on 07/08/09 at 04:46 PMthank buddha these guys teamed up again to write the best comics this side of cerebus!!!!!!!
Posted by Thunderduck on 07/08/09 at 09:43 PMThe progression of this story has now sunk its tendrils into my mind. Unless they completely fall off the wagon, I'm on board for the tenure of this run. Good stuff.
Posted by vadamowens on 07/08/09 at 11:24 PMThis title is here to stay... no doubt in my mind. People should gobble up the first 3 issues before it gets too far ahead.
Posted by OddsBodkins on 07/09/09 at 03:09 PMdragging along for me. ill pick it up later if it picks up
Posted by peterporker on 07/09/09 at 09:50 PMTommy must take the doorknob to various locations around the world where different stories were written, and he must bring the characters from those stories to life(using the doorknob) to fight his enemies.
Ya?
I love any story that can get me to think like this.
Posted by Ruo21 on 07/10/09 at 03:13 AMIt still clunk in places, but that was the best issue yet. It's sinking its fangs...
