Nightwing #151
Nightwing has saved New York City from Two-Face, but that doesn't mean that he's saved himself - or that Two-Face is through with him. Posted by WadeWilson on 12/09/08 at 01:14 AMCannot wait! DC, please don't end this book! I know it's too late, but I thought some weepy fanboy sobbing couldn't hurt :(
Posted by Eyun on 12/09/08 at 09:55 AMI'll miss you Nightwing.
Posted by Kory on 12/09/08 at 03:17 PMthis isnt the cover is it?? cause i think this cover is the 150 variant cover
Posted by smeeeeee on 12/09/08 at 06:22 PMLast issue was my favorite issue of NW since Dixon left the book 80+ issues ago. Very sad that it is ending soon.
Posted by torippu on 12/10/08 at 01:56 AMNightwing R.I.P :(
Posted by Eyun on 12/10/08 at 09:46 AMThat is definitely not the right cover! This issue was lame. No point to anything that happened. Wow, Nightwing jumps from space!! Kool (sarcasm)!!
Posted by robbydzwonar on 12/10/08 at 08:51 PMThis was fantastic.
Posted by Kory on 12/11/08 at 12:28 AMDid anyone notice the cover is done by regular Buffy artiste Georges Jeanty? Very excited to read this.
Posted by GungaDin on 12/11/08 at 07:56 PMPretty awesome, but i guess the big question is: What movie were they watching at the end? The Magnificent Seven or Seven Samurai?
Posted by WadeWilson on 12/12/08 at 12:46 AMOK, I loved this book, but it freaked me the hell out, because I was listening to that song they reference (Space Oddity by David Bowie) as I read that page. Had to put the book down for a second after that.
Posted by jerichobp on 12/12/08 at 02:39 AMThe first kitchen scene was soooo bad, the last one was amazing.
Posted by Joppe on 12/12/08 at 01:44 PMi loved this issue from beginning to end. and i was totally moved by the final page with the "missing man" formation of the comfy chairs. powerful stuff!
Posted by macdad34 on 12/13/08 at 12:25 AMI nearly didn't pick this up. Having read the rest of the Great Leap arc I thought I might as well... turns out this was the best of lot. Connor really said it all in his review. Its just good to see the series (almost very nearly) conclude like this. So Damien's grandpa is back next? I guess this must lead into the battle for the cowl story line, with Damien surely playing a key role.
Posted by TheApeThatEscaped on 12/14/08 at 07:13 AMShould I drop Trinity for this book?
Posted by Skullbine on 12/14/08 at 11:15 AM@Skullbine- I would say no. There's only 2 more issues before this book gets cancelled.
Posted by Kory on 12/14/08 at 06:50 PM@Kory - Thank you, I had no clue.
