Justice League Of America 80 Page Giant #1
With a tale this massive, we could only fit it in an 80-page giant! When a battle between Epoch and the Time Commander spills over into our era, the Justice League finds itself scattered throughout time. That leaves Superman and Dr. Light fighting alongside a tornado-powered Samurai, Green Lantern and Red Arrow locked in a showdown with Cinnamon in the Old West, Green Arrow and Firestorm facing the Bride of Frankenstein in WWII, John Stewart and Vixen drawing swords alongside the Shining Knight, and Black Canary and Zatanna evading gangsters with the original Crimson Avenger!
Reintroducing the classic, extra-sized issues for a whole new generation, this special issue features the writing of TV's Chuck Kim (Heroes) and Rich Fogel (Batman Beyond, Justice League) along with writer Joshua Williamson (Dear Dracula) and artists such as Mahmud Asrar (Dynamo 5) and Adrian Syaf (BLACKEST NIGHT: BATMAN)!
Written by Chuck Kim, Josh Williamson, Rich Fogel and others

That's a great cover though. Kinda has an Alex Ross style to it.

Posted by RocketRacoon on 09/28/09 at 08:50 PMDC used to have something called Justice League Quarterly. They were 80-issue books released every few months. This sounds like a new attempt at that...
Posted by Itiscritical on 09/28/09 at 09:14 PM*er...80-page issues...
Posted by Itiscritical on 09/28/09 at 09:14 PMI really want this to be good. I miss the JLA being a good book SO much, it's been bad for so long & now we have TWO bad JLA books. It's a shame.
I haven't read a good JLA story in so long ... I hope this will be at least decent.
Posted by WadeWilson on 09/29/09 at 02:06 AMA tornado powered samurai? Could it be....could we be that lucky to see the Superfriends own Samurai!! Awesome!
Posted by boostergold4 on 09/29/09 at 08:20 AMWhy do I feel like I've read this story before, only last time it was the JSA instead of the JLA ?
Posted by usagi on 09/30/09 at 05:44 PMSo this is what Asrar has been doing.
Asrar is actually a really good artist.
Posted by miyamotofreak on 09/30/09 at 07:35 PMThe Justice League of America is as awesome as always.
Posted by evil09 on 10/02/09 at 09:29 PMThis reminds me of classic JLA stories from the 1980's. That's a good thing!!!
Posted by boostergold4 on 10/03/09 at 04:25 PMI was surpised to actually enjoy it.
Posted by theegreatone on 10/04/09 at 04:06 PMI enjoyed the stories but I thought the art was hit-or-miss. Great cover.
Posted by JimmyD on 10/04/09 at 10:11 PMDoes anybody know who the four armed bride of frankenstein lady is? I researched wikipedia and got that she probably was apart of S.H.A.D.E. but can't get her actual name.

When was this written? It almost sounds like a reprint. I've got no idea how this fits into anyway.
