Arkham Reborn #1 (OF 3)
Following the Black Mask's destruction of Arkham Asylum in BATTLE FOR THE COWL, Dr. Jeremiah Arkham has rebuilt the Asylum following the design of his mad Uncle Amadeus. Intended as a model for enlightened treatment of mental illness, the building soon mutates into a torture house, and the inmates find themselves trapped in a living hell. And when Jeremiah starts hearing a voice from beyond the grave, it becomes painfully clear that the lunatics really have taken over the Asylum! Beginning a 3-issue miniseries from the BATTLE FOR THE COWL: ARKHAM ASYLUM creative team of writer David Hine and artist Jeremy Haun!

@Prax: It's three issues, I say give it a shot. I'm a bit iffy on Hine's writing myself, but I've also heard good things about the one shot from earlier.

Posted by Jediaxle on 10/26/09 at 05:42 PMI'm a sucker for anything Arkham or Joker related. Did David Hine write the Arkham one-shot that was out a few weeks ago? It was really good!
And yeah, great cover.

Posted by WadeWilson on 10/26/09 at 06:19 PM@deadspace Yes, Hine wrote the one-shot.
Posted by PraxJarvin on 10/26/09 at 06:36 PM@PraxJarvin - Sweet, I'm really looking forward to this then.
Posted by deadspace on 10/26/09 at 07:05 PMThe one-shot has me sold.
Posted by Reform on 10/26/09 at 07:23 PMNOT super excited about this but I'm still gonna get it.
Posted by robbydzwonar on 10/26/09 at 09:01 PMYeah, Hine has never really impressed me much, so I'll be skipping this one.
Posted by drakedangerz on 10/26/09 at 11:55 PMReally enkiyed the one shot, it was one of the better BFTC tie ins, so I'm definitely in on this one.
Posted by Selfstyler on 10/27/09 at 04:26 AMThat should have been ENJOYED...curse these early mornings.
Posted by Selfstyler on 10/27/09 at 04:27 AMNot being a fan of dolls, that last page creeped me the fuck out. Not as good as the one shot, but still a 5 out of 5.
Posted by Slockhart on 10/29/09 at 01:20 AMMy wife loved this issue, no prior knowledge required *confirmed*!
Posted by IroncladMerc on 10/29/09 at 09:51 AMReally enjoyed this!
Posted by deadspace on 10/29/09 at 01:50 PMA good issue, but that's about it. I wasn't wowed by it. I think the one-shot was better. Though Aaron Cash for the win! 3/5
Posted by PraxJarvin on 10/29/09 at 04:35 PMPrax you're crazy :p 5/5 for me.
Posted by deadspace on 10/29/09 at 05:13 PMOne shot was way better.
Posted by lantern4life on 10/30/09 at 02:00 AMGreat start of a story. & just like a constipated man -- I can't wait for #2.
Posted by WadeWilson on 10/30/09 at 05:56 AMNot as strong as the one shot, but I'm glad he has more issues this time around. Love the nods to Arkham Living Hell.

Haven't decided if I really want to get this yet. On one hand, I liked the one-shot during BFTC. On the other hand, I never much cared for Hine's writing. Hmmm... anyone want to help me out?
