Agreed: a short lived, detective meets super hero book that boasted really good art. Seem to recall J’Onn J’Onzz had a bit part at some stage…

Yes and know. Ostrander retconned him into the Justice Experience in the Martian Manhunter series, but I doubt D. Curtis Johnson had that in mind when he created that team.
