Star Wars Invasion #5 (OF 5)
The Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy is spreading quickly. Prince Finn Galfridian, whose planet of Artorias was taken and his family separated by the Vong, is training as a Jedi with Luke Skywalker to prepare himself to save his family and lead his surviving people.
Not surprisingly, the other members of the royal family have been working to save themselves! Finn's mother and sister Kaye are fighting against the Vong's bioengineered killing monsters to escape imprisonment, and if his father, Caled, is still living, he will be leading resistance on Artorias. With hope, Caled lives, and will still be fighting when Finn arrives with aid!

@Stuclach I was thinking the same thing until I gave the inside cover of the last issue a good long look. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is going to be a series of minis like BPRD, etc. It's going to be a few months before the next story arc begins if I'm right.
Posted by vinh on 11/02/09 at 05:16 PMI think it is supposed to alternate publishing cycles with Star Wars: Dark Times. I really love Dark Times but it has been having a lot of trouble getting out on time. Looking forward to the conclusion of this first Invasion story.

Posted by stuclach on 11/03/09 at 08:17 AMI found the brief exploration of character with Anakin very enjoyable (big fan of the character from NJO). I wish this series wouldn't be on the schedule it is and I hope it returns soon; after all, this wasn't supposed to come out until after Blue Harvest in Dark Times was finished and we've only gotten one issue more out of that while this story arc happened. Anyway, nice conclusion to the first arc but I'm definitely craving more (this is the best thing SW is putting out right now along with KotOR, including what's happening in the current book series).

I don't think I knew this only a five issue mini. The only way they could wrap this up that quickly is if everyone dies.
I just noticed that the author is named Tom Taylor. I wonder if he reads "Unwritten"?
