It’s a pity more people aren’t buying this…
Despite being shorter than any other comic I’m buying, it actually takes longer to read than them all (except Jonathan Hickman’s books), and I mean that in a good way. It’s great fun, but also dense.
I’m curious about this — I love Fraction’s Marvel work — but I picked up a random issue and was quite lost. Would it help to read from the beginning, or is it just that kind of book?
Hey Ohcaroline, I started with issue 5 and was totally confused, went back to issue 1 and it makes a bit more sense. That being said, I think the book is SUPPOSED to be sort of weird and nonsensical at times. While I dont’ think it’s brilliant, I buy it every month and enjoy it.
I find myself re-reading the last 2-3 issues every time I pick up a new Casanova issue. It is wacky and non-linear but half the fun is trying to put the pieces of the story together.
