Wasn’t even going to give this a second look, but that solicit really got my attention. It IS a great moustache…
Batroc here and Penguin in Dark Knight. My kinda week.
This was a pretty solid one-shot. Gillen had a good voice for Batroc and I liked the theme of ‘honor’ in this issue. Although the overall story was pretty typical and the art isn’t much to really be excited about. Shame, this really could’ve been a lot better then it actually was.

hmm, this didn’t look like the Arlem of old, unpulled.
I thought this was pitch perfect! A Marvel noble villain story done so well by Gillen — featuring that master of savate, Georges Batroc! I loved this one exponentially more then the Crossbones story last week.

Greatest Moustache in the Marvel U. Dr.Strange might have something to say about that
