I can’t remember wth happened in the last 3 issues…

this is a little late, isn’t it?

  3. Kodos Kodos says:

Go re-read the first 3 issues. It’s better reading the entire story so far in one sitting.

  4. GunnerAsh GunnerAsh says:

About time, better late than never I suppose. I’m off this as soon as McNiven is, I’m only on this for the art now (which is masterful).

  5. avenger68 avenger68 says:

Ed Brubaker is one of the best writers out there.Too bad for you.

    • miltman miltman says:

Yes that doesnt mean hes perfect though

I actually like Brubaker, a lot. His Daredevil stuff is great and I love his Captain America run he did a while ago. But this has gone downhill since issue 1 for me. I picked up #1 on a whim and loved it, but I haven’t really loved where the story has gone since. Still, McNiven’s artwork is to die for and that’s why I’ll be getting this tomorrow. But there are more deserving books that can have my $3.99 every Wednesday. Just my opinion though, of course.

I dropped this book. I’m enjoying the Cap and Buck title more.

  7. Andrew Andrew says:

As mentioned over and over, McNiven’s art is fantastic. This story, however… I’m going to check this issue out, but if it is as boring as the last two issues I will most likely drop it.

  8. avenger68 avenger68 says:

Your right miltman no one is perfect but I remember J.M.DeMatties run back in the 80′s (yea I’m old) with team ups like team america. So I’ll take Brubaker anytime. No disrespect to you GunnerAsh to each his own.

I’d really love to read a Cap book. Why do you feel the need to charge 4 bucks and up for any book worth reading, Marvel?

  11. LastSon94 LastSon94 says:

Am I the only one getting an “Inception” vibe from this story line?

  12. player1 player1 says:

I’m really enjoying this book. I think it’s a wackier, wilder take than the tone of the other title. It’s really fun, and I’m running out to the mailbox whenever it ships waiting for it. One of the few books that I read the day it comes in the mail. Fun!

  13. stustap stustap says:

Think I may be dropping this.

The art is fantastic, but the story isn’t my cup of tea. Enjoying the Cap & Bucky book much more, and looking forward to Winter Soldier.

And also – $3.99 for 20 pages of story is a hard sell.

I have nothing bad to say about this book. Such seems like it’s not for me. One of those books I wanna love but just isn’t there.
