A big week seals the deal for me – I’m dropping this.
yeah, im pretty close to dropping it too. i didnt get to meet swierczynski on saturday (he was at my LCS for free comic book day), so maybe that would have made me stick around longer, but i can see myself getting tired of this and only stick around for a few more issues because of the art, just like i did with punisher war journal.

I’m sticking around because I’m such an X-men completist, but this series has not been good so far. Bishop is woefully out of character no matter how the X-editors try to spin it. And frankly, I don’t care about the baby anymore. I’m more interested in knowing who the baby’s parents are, but that question hasn’t even been asked!
I am done with this book as well. It’s just not that good.
I’m already upset with myself for buying this one, but I’m going to try to make it through the first arc. I still cannot understand what the baby is doing with Cable in this book. I mean, the baby was so important that it required a huge cross-over. Now no one in the X-universe is talking about it, and Cable is ‘keeping it safe’ in a post-apocolyptic future.
@shogunt — Seriously, you’d think there would have been some research/detective work done about who gave birth in that hospital. Hey, maybe that’s what Kitty is up to! (Hush, I’m going to believe she’s okay as long as I can; which may be a while since Astonishing is delayed again).
anybody see the skrull cover? if the baby turns out to be skrully then messiah complex…i will quit
Yeah, that cover made me laugh. I laughed even harder when my LCS was trying to sell it for six bucks. Did anyone enjoy this book? If you did, please tell me why. I think I have to drop this book even though it is supposed to be important to the overall X-men universe.
um did anyone else get the skrull cover?? im just making sure cuz i got the skrull cover and i got completely confused
Hell, I just went back to the LCS because I realized I did not get this in my stack. They did not even get this. I am getting this for my son because he was a diehard Cable/Deadpool fan. I am not sure why he wants it because its Deadpool he wants. I just can’t help myself. I can’t say know to my kids about comics.
