And when Taskmaster discovers Mutant Zero’s true identity, she gets fightin’ mad!

Hmm…looks like a whippin’ is in store for poor old Taskmaster.

  2. goat77 goat77 says:

There’s a lot to look forward to here.

The preview was sort of creepy, though, in which Trauma takes on the form of Wasp to comfort Pym… and then they instantly start to talk about Skrull-Pym’s sexual escapades.

  3. Diabhol Diabhol says:

This comic has been consistantly great for its entire run. Dan Slott is a demigod.

  4. I was going to drop this after this issue and start picking up Mighty Avengers in issues, but I think I’m going to stick with this even without Slott.

  5. tittom tittom says:

The cover is gorgeous. Just sayin’

  6. shogunt says:

The only Avengers book I’m still reading. Great stuff.

  7. RoiVampire RoiVampire says:

both this and the last issue of mighty had excellent use of white. stellar cover

I just like getting kicked in the teeth. That’s why I’m buying it.

I have to drop this book :-(   I have enjoyed it, but I have to make cut backs to my pull list.  Plus I am following Casselli to Secret Warriors (yay Hickman!)  Still, hope this book continues to be good once Slott leaves

  10. DenverDave DenverDave says:

Dropped. The whole anti-skroll motorcycle gang thing was waaay too lame to spend $ on.

  11. Who’s the next artist? This one was kind of underwhelming. I can forgive the SI sidetrack…

  12. Looks like Humberto Ramos. That and Gage gives me some confidence in the future, though I’m not really clear on this book’s purpose in the Norman Osborne-NWO (I bet he puts the Nazi in charge).

  13. I’ve enjoyed this series all the way through.

There have been some pacing problems and some cheesy dialogue in some issues, but overall this is a great run.

  14. CaptianJack CaptianJack says:

@goat77  Trauma wasnt talking to pym.  Trauma was talking to Tigra.  which, did anyone else see a problem with skrull-human relationships that have already been established?

    possible *spoiler*

didn’t reed already establish that Skrulls and humans couldn’t reproduce? AKA the whole human torch- Elja thing.

  15. RoiVampire RoiVampire says:

@captainjack   maybe they can get around because the skrulls altered their dna to remain undetected

  16. PraxJarvin PraxJarvin says:

Hrmm, I was disappointed by the end of last issue, and this one was kind of boring. I liked the Hank Pym parts, but overall, only Taskmaster made this issues interesting.

With Rhodey, Pym, 3-D Man and Crusader (heck, event Ant-man!) all out of the title, I can’t see sticking around. I may give this one more issue, but I highly doubt it.
