Love love love the design of the hero on the cover.
You’ve got that right, that is one awesome cover.
That is an awesome cover! It looks simple, for an Alex Ross design. But you look at it more and you see how the coloring and the speed effect makes it look beautiful.
The one thing Astro City has NEVER lacked is great hero concepts…Las Vegas Strip Man is awesome. Agree with all the raves about the cover, and I’m always happy when a new issue of Astro City hits the stands.
I wish this series would come out quicker, waiting for the trade is killing me.
The digital pencils were amazingly good on this. Usually in not a fan of Anderson’s art because it looks too muddy but the line work in this is crisp and gorgeous
