If Phil Hester’s writing I’m sold, but they’re really pushing resemblance to Hellboy. Hoping its more its own thing and the Hellboy/Goon reference is just a hook to grab readers.
their Boom kids products are all $2.99 but their other books are $3.99, but from what I understand they will be doing digital comics and they will be cheap
I really enjoyed this. I thought it was solid, exciting, and well formatted for a monthly read. I’ll be into this for a while, I think.
I have zero experience with Hellboy or Goon, so I don’t know if this is derivative or not, but it seems original and exciting enough for me. Good stuff.

The preview looked pretty good.
This sounds awesome.

I thought the cover was hellboy…
hmmm…let me re-budget real fast =)
If my shop has this, I’ll definitely give it a try.
It’s a light week and even though this doesn’t sound like my thing… why not?
Currently this is rating 6.7 out of 5. I love the maths in this place
Are all BOOM comics $3.99? Although i bought this issue, i dont think I’ll be buying more because of the price

I liked this but which there was more substance to latch onto. Might buy the 2nd issue depending on the week.
EDIT: wish not which.

not into hellboy or goon but this was really good. i think the only thing they have in common is the art
I was going to say the art style reminded me of Hellboy and Goon but it seem the solict already did.
