AMERICAN VAMPIRE #9

The terrifying conclusion of “Devil in the Sand” ends with a bloody battle and a vampire who proves America ain’t the only country with a unique kind of bloodsucker.

Plus, a shocking betrayal will change the lives – and the relationship – of Skinner and Pearl forever. And for vampires, “forever” is a very, very long time…

I’m trade waiting for this, and can’t wait!

  2. Avistann Avistann says:

I just started reading this and I was blown away each issue. I did not know that this arc was only going to be four parts. Also has there been any reference to the guy with the baby in his backpack in Silverton, Colardo back in part one of this current arc?

  3. reg5000 reg5000 says:

I’ve been sold on this since issue one. It is consistenly outstanding.

  4. JesseG JesseG says:

I’m pretty sure the guy with the baby in the beginning of this arc was the police chief from las vegas.

  5. AmirCat AmirCat says:

I can’t wait till Snyder explains how Geography has something to do with the different species. I love that part of this where apparrently the location of the Vampire gives it different powers. Kind of Nurture over Nature (or UnNature)

  6. Lebahn Lebahn says:

Keeps getting better and better and better! Can not wait for where the child halfbreed is going to take us…and is it me or does Sweets remind anyone else of the guy in the photos at all world tragedies theory?

  7. MegaPhilip MegaPhilip says:

Great conclusion. Caught up on the whole series in my shop today and was very impressed. Issue 8 definitely deserved POTW last time and this was another solid issue today. I picked up the first trade and haven’t bought any issue yet, but I think I’m gonna start buying them after the cutoff for the second hardcover and double dip from there.

  8. mikeandzod21 mikeandzod21 says:

Am I the only one who felt this was on fast forward? It felt like a really rushed conclusion to me.

  9. JesseG JesseG says:

I’m with mikeandzod21, the pacing was off in this one.
