  1. That cover is awesome.

  2. Wtf…my LCS isn’t getting this because I guess it wasn’t listed on Diamond. And I was really looking forward to this. Damn…

  3. I work at a comic store and we get all of our comics in on Tuesday, this title was not among them. Neither was Secret Avengers #24. I am not sure if it is an issue at Diamond or simply a publisher error. The owner will be calling Diamond tomorrow to find out what the deal is, but he thinks that the publishers may have just pushed the release dates back.

My shop uses a program called Comic Suite. When the Diamond order forms pop up 2 months in advance, it allows us to insert the amount of copies we would like to receive of the issues that they will be releasing. The moment we open the new monthly order form from Diamond, Comic Suite automatically fills in the quantities that have been requested by our comic subscribers. For example, if 5 people have American Vampire on their pull list, every month when the order form is opened American Vampire would automatically have 5 issues ordered for us. We then, of course, can go back and adjust the number accordingly.
The point is that, for a shop like mine that uses this subscription/pull list program, there is no way that we would just NOT get Secret Avengers because there were already copies automatically reserved for the people that request it monthly.

Long story short, the title will be coming but apparently not this week.

    • I think the same thing happened at my LCS, I was really looking forward to picking this up, but they didn’t get it in either. They said that according to their invoice American Vampire #25 doesnt come out til next week. They assured me it will be in next week & that they would be holding an issue for me. I’m not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed by this as this was a pretty light week for me (3 books total counting this one), & this was the book I was most looking forward to. All that aside, I love my shop, & the guys working there, always extremely helpful, & I really appreciate the fact that they were willing to take the time to check on this & explain what happened.

    • I was just about to comment about this and Secret Avengers too. My LCS also says they don’t ship till next week. Bummer.

    • Yeah, I was wanting both these books, too. This makes me feel better that I’m not the only one left out in the cold.

    • That’s weird (and unfortunate because this was a really good issue), my LCS got this and Secret Avengers but didn’t get any copies of Aquaman. Sounds like it might be errors on Diamond’s part.

  4. ATTENTION!

This book–and possibly SECRET AVENGERS #24 as well–was only shipped by some Diamond warehouses. Comic book stores on the east coast of the US got it but the west coast won’t get it until next week.

That’s all the information we have at the moment.

  5. Feel bad for west coast paper readers that didn’t get it this week because it was FANTASTIC! Plus I was suprised that it got the CMX-HD treatment for new iPad retina display it was insanely beautiful. This is my 2nd week with Retina display quality comics and I can’t believe how much better the art is! Soooo beautiful! 5/5 most likely will be my POTW but we’ll see.

  6. Well at least you can buy it digitally if yours was one of the unfortunate shops that didn’t get it in this week, & you don’t want to wait another week for a paper copy.

  7. We have some serious increasing issues with diamond. Just this week they called to inform us that one of our Bowes of comics ended up in Washington (we are in CA.) They have also been known to send us books that we never ordered or books that were clearly damaged at the diamond warehouse. They certainly have some major kinks that need to be worked out. But as for now we can’t really do anything because they are the only comic distributor.

The perk of work at a comic shop is being able to read anything you want. The downside is counting down the days for your favorite book to arrive and realizing it ain’t comin haha

  8. Didn’t get it either :/

  9. Didn’t arrive in Europe either

  10. I got it. And it was awesome. My POTW for sure. I’ve really enjoyed this entire storyline.

    Sorry guys.
