    I had seen a few articles about how awesome the first issue was of this series and my comic shop had sold out, so I grabbed this with an expectation that it would be kind of awesome. Perhaps I missed something, but wow…it was not good. The dialogue was odd, I wasn’t sure if it was attempt to recapture the dialogue style of comics from a much earlier period. I am not sure if reading it as three installments as it was released digitally would help or give me three opportunities to regret the purchase.

    I wasn’t a big fan of the art in this issue; but the story was cool. I like the idea of watching this world’s super-villains go from a more Silver Agey campiness to a powerful league of their own with actual direction and evil on a much larger scale.
