  1. Looking forward to that art. Morales! Sprouse!

  2. the weeping angels are on the cover

  3. Steve Skroce? I remember that guy! Back in the mid-to-late 90’s I was very turned off by his style, but then realized that he was awesome. Then we was gone. I hope he’s back in some way, even if it is just dipping a toe back in the comics pool.

  4. Why do I still buy this? I think I like it, but can’t be too sure. What can the next 3 issues do to make this a complete story or ressemble a complete story? I’m looking forward to Snyder/Lee Superman. I love Morrison, and this entertains on a monthly basis, but I really cant remeber anything that has happened since issue 1, and the stolen cape story from issue 0. I knew I should have bought the regular covers, and not the variants. At least then I would take them out of the sleeves and read them again.

  5. Zuriel?

  6. Pretty good issue. The backup was great.

I just get the feeling that Morrison has lost interest in this for some reason. It isn’t saying anything really meaningful like most of his work does. I mean this is the reboot to Action Comics! I expected the Sun, the Moon and the Stars in this big stir fry black hole!

2 issues left……. whats he going to pull out the hat?

  7. This was a good one, the mission on mars was exciting. I love how Morrison writes Superman, he could do it forever as far as I’m concerned, the vindictive was very reminiscent to the Alan Moore Mxy which I though was cool. The deGrasse Tyson stuff was a lot of fun too, as he is just the man.

  8. The DC Comics Database says were also mentioned in Batman and Robin Vol 1 Number 7 and Batman Incorporated Vol 1 Number 3. Does anybody remember what context?

  9. just fantastic storytelling. Rags really seems to have stepped up his game in this issue with beautiful panels.

  10. I want to like this book but I just can’t get into it. I don’t get the Morrison love. He’s decent enough but not someone I would read just for his name. I’m taking this off my pull list for now. I’m still pulling Superman hoping that will get beter with the new team and thankfully Snyder and Lee are doing the Man of Steel. I’ll get my Superman fix with those two. This seems directionless and boring. Also the art was not consistent . In some panels Supes looks 15 yrs old and others he looks 40. I’ll keep an eye on it hoping for the best but for now bye bye.

  11. Finally! An issue that made sense.
